JB Bennett (Contracts) Ltd – St Ninians

On 25th February 2020, work stopped at Gateside Road, St Ninians because the builder, JB Bennett (Contracts) Ltd ceased trading due to cash flow problems. Forth, Stirling Council and other housing associations in Scotland are affected and it has since been confirmed to us that Bennetts are now in the process of administration.

A replacement contractor will be sought to complete the houses at Gateside Road, the associated utilities and groundworks as well as works to roadways. This will extend completion to weeks rather than days.

Forth’s immediate priority has been to retain the security company which provides 24/7 camera visibility and we continue to monitor the site. However, should you notice anything suspicious at the site please contact Forth’s office or the Police.

Forth has informed tenants of the completed houses at Earlsburn Avenue and Howlands Road and will update tenants on progress.
