Management Committee briefing

The following points were covered at the September Committee Meeting:

• The following Office-bearers were elected:
  • Chairperson        Gordon Mason
  • Vice Chair           Pat Heneghan
  • Secretary             Colleen Sharp
  • Treasurer             David Cumming
• The Development Report was considered and covered:
  • Progress on site at Raploch and Cornton, including spend to date
  • Updates on proposed developments at several locations throughout Stirling
• The Maintenance Report was considered and covered:
  • Very good performance against the stated targets
  • Spend being in line with or under budget
  • Progress updates on planned and cyclical works
• Adoption of revised policies covering the following areas:
  • Committee Members’ Code Of Conduct
  • Staff Members’ Code Of Conduct
  • Entitlements, Payments and Benefits
  • Rechargeable Repairs
• Agreement to arrange Committee training in connection with potential conflicts of interest.
• The following Office–bearers decisions were homologated:
  • Acceptance of the kitchen replacement contract
  • Lease arrangements for the new office development at Kildean
  • Acceptance of the painter work contract
• The granting of consent, by the Scottish Housing Regulator, for a standard security in connection with the purchase of Kildean was noted and agreed for recording in the register of disposals.
