Transition Stirling Offer Free Food

Free Food From The Kitchen at 44 King Street, Stirling.

Transition Stirling's main project at the moment is the Community Fridge. Instead of large supermarkets putting large volumes of excess and near-sell-by-date food in the bin, the Community Fridge offers the food to everyone in the community for free. Although it is described as a fridge, many fresh bakery goods and frozen foods can also be collected. Food is currently being sourced from the Stirling branches of Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Morrisons. The Kitchen at 44 King Street, where the Community Fridge is based, is open every day from 11.30am to 1pm. Available to all and everyone welcome! https://www.transitionstirling.org.uk/community-fridge
