Forth’s Income Maximisation Service Providing Vital Support During Covid 19

Our Income Maximisation Officer, Tracy Doran, has been hard at work and has helped nearly 300 tenants during the epidemic. One of our tenants who had treatment for a serious illness and also contracted Covid 19 e mailed our office to confirm:

 "After years of being in a relationship with someone who had complete control over all the finances, I had no idea where to begin on how to apply for Rent, Council Tax benefits, or Working Tax Credits, Tracy even helped me with Heating Allowance.

There has been an incredible amount of upset in my life due to health problems over the past 2 years, where I have had to be on statutory sick leave more than once. As you can imagine this causes concerns with my rent etc, Tracy is always at the other end of the phone and calmly listens to all my craziness. (I suffer from anxiety and stress).  If she can't come to visit, as is the times we now live in, she will spend her precious time sorting things out for me. If she can't do it there and then she will email me with the answer within the next few days. The simple fact is that I don't know what I would have done without her! She has such a calming effect on me, and I have complete confidence in her. She truly is a treasure, and nothing is too much trouble for her. Even though she has so many other people who need her, she makes me feel like the most important and that is a gift! I could talk all day about this amazing woman, and I'm so thankful and blessed to have her as my go to for all financial advice, her knowledge is incredible.”
